Whether you are new to the area or just passing through, a missionary, or seeking a new church home as the Lord leads, I hope you will consider coming by and being our guest. Our people will make you feel most welcome!
Our services are informal and Holy Spirit led. (Just as you would expect in a country church!)
We take time for praises and prayer requests in each meeting.
There is no dress code- some members dress more formally and some less formal as they feel led. We leave your clothing choices up to you, but we do ask that each person considers modesty in their apparel.
We sing old hymns and sometimes newer songs.
Bro. Beall teaches and preaches from the New King James Version of the Scriptures.
This teaching method involves book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse study through the Old and New Testaments. The truth of the Scriptures are presented in a way to promote understanding for the hearers. If you are a student of God’s word, you will enjoy this approach!

Maranatha Baptist Church currently meets twice during the week:
Sunday morning: 9:30AM to 10:15AM for Old Testament Teaching.
Sunday Worship: 10:30AM to 12:30PM(ish) for New Testament Teaching.
Sunday evening: no meetings currently
Wednesday evening: no meetings currently
NOTE: The last Sunday of each month is what we call “Family Day”. On Family Day we have a fellowship meal, and then a business meeting after our morning worship time. This is always a great time of fellowship for our church family!
The Church building is easy to find. We are about 10 minutes from Wiggins.
From Wiggins, take Highway 26 West toward Poplarville and go about 2 miles.
Turn left onto Old Highway 26 and go about 4 miles. The church building is on the left.
